DEMENTIA

World Health Organization reports that 47 million people have Dementia syndromes including Alzheimer's disease worldwide.  Rates are increasing by 10 million per year. The only known treatment is prevention.

Caretaking for people with dementia usually falls to family members. This can be one of the most stressful and demanding situations in our lifespan. This is very close to the heart of BAA. "My mother has dementia".
